Ink Aware is a pop-up Toolbox that appears in different programs that is part of the Notebook software. It can get in the way of using programs such as Excel where it appears at the bottom left of your screen.

To stop the Ink Aware Pop-up

Open SMARTBoard Software.
Select Configure SMART Tools.
Select Ink Aware Program Settings. The Ink Aware Options window will appear.
Look at the Check box - If a check mark appears next to a program, the program is currently Ink Aware.
To shut off Ink Aware for a program, uncheck check box.
Select Okay
