If you already have Outlook set up on your laptop and need to be able to use the program when you are not on the BPS network, follow these easy steps:

    1. Go to Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel, doubleclick on the Mail icon.
    3. Select Email Accounts, then make sure ‘view or edit existing email accounts’ is selected and click ‘next’.
    4. There you’ll see your Exchange account. Select ‘Change’, and make sure a checkmark is in the box for "use cached mode".
    5. Then click ‘more settings’.
    6. Click on the ‘Connection’ tab and look at the bottom of the tab. There you will see "Exchange over the Internet". Make sure ‘Connect to my Exchange Mailbox over HTTP’ is selected, and click on Exchange Proxy Settings.
    7. In the Exchange Proxy settings tab, make sure every checkbox is selected. The URL is expost.mybps.org, the principal name for proxy server is msstd:expost.mybps.org Under the proxy authentication settings, select Basic Authentication in the dropdown menu.
    8. Click OK out of everything and you are all set.
