    TechBoston, a division of OIIT, supports advanced technology courses in the district's schools. TechBoston's mission is to inspire Boston Public School students by providing access to cutting edge technology resources and opportunities that positively advance their academic and career aspirations.

    OIIT/Library & Media Services

    Library & Media Services is a division of OIIT that provides centralized support for school libraries in the district. The BPS Library Program will foster in every student an appreciation and understanding of libraries throughout their lives. Schools libraries are integral to that learning; teaching students to negotiate the many forms of information, teaching students to love reading and teaching students to be skilled and engaged in their own learning.

    BPS Cyber Safety Website

    The BPS is committed to bringing Internet safety strategies to the members of its community. The technology support teachers in every school are required this year to become Internet safety certified through i-SAFE, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the online experiences of youth everywhere. Technology support teachers will be conducting Internet safety activities in their schools during the month of April.
