    Preview: Annotating PDF Files

    Preview has editing tools that allow the user to make comments and draw attention to part or sections of the PDF file. Some of the features for Annotation and Mark Up are demonstrated below. Underlining, highlighting, making a notation, using arrows, and striking through text are some of the features illustrated. Below is the toolbar for Leopard.

    In Snow Leopard click on the Annotate icon to activate the toolbar.

    The Annotate Toolbar will appear bottom left corner of the window.

    If you cannot see the Annotate icon, please go to View and select Show Annotations Toolbar.

    In Lion the Preview "Annotate Toolbar" is at the to of the page when you click on the highlighter icon.
