    MacBook

    1. Turn the MacBook Laptop on.

    2. Attach the Mac video adapter from the laptop to the video projector cable.

    3. Plug the cable to Computer In on the back of the video projector.

    4. Turn the Video Projector on. If the image doesn’t come up, go to the Display icon on the top of the screen and scroll down to Detect Displays.

Select Turn on Mirroring to see the image on both the laptop and the projection screen at the same time.

If the image doesn’t appear properly, go to System Preferences > Displays. Set the Resolution to 1024 X 768 (stretched), and set the Color to Millions. These are the commonly used settings.

    On a PC Laptop:

    1. Turn Video Projector on.

    2. Turn Laptop on.

    3. Open the file you want to project.

Hit the Function Key on the keyboard and the F7 key to toggle between seeing the image on the computer, on the projection screen, or on both screens. (This key may vary on laptops. Look for the key with the overlapping screens or other video icon.)

If the image doesn’t fit on the screen properly, you may need to go to the Control Panel > Displays to change the screen Resolution.

    On Older Mac Laptops:

    1. Turn Video Projector on.

    2. Turn Laptop on.

    3. Open the file you want to project.

If the image does not appear or doesn’t fit on the screen properly, go to System Preferences > Displays, and change the screen Resolution. Some machines may require setting Displays to Mirroring. If you see two rectangles, drag one onto the other for mirroring.
