When your printer is malfunctioning, ask yourself these questions to see if you can resolve the issue:

Is there enough paper in the tray?

Is the printer online? (display window indicates ready or the indicator light is green) Check all cables.

Is there anything stuck in the printer? Paper jam?

Does the printer need ink? Laser cartridge replacement? (TIP: shake the laser cartridge, reinsert it and you can get more life out of the cartridge).
